As with most cocktails, the origin of the Manhattan is shrouded in debate, although its recipe has undoubtedly always called for whiskey, vermouth and bitters. Here, fine American Bourbon combines with Cocchi Di Torino and bitters to create an exemplary Manhattan.

45ml Michters American Number 1 Rye Whiskey
15ml Cocchi Vermouth Di Torino
2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters

Ice

None

Method

Add all of the ingredients into a stirring glass , add ample amount of ice cubes and stir for about 30 seconds. Pour into the glass, straining and removing the ice.
