Mezcal Old Fashioned
A fusion of an Old Fashioned cocktail and a long drink called the Batanga which consists of Tequila, Coca-Cola and lime. Here, Mezcal takes the place of Tequila and a Coca-Cola reduction is used instead of Vermouth.
Mezcal Old Fashioned Recipe

50ml Ilegal Añejo
7.5ml cola reduction
5 Dashes of smoked salt water
Ice
No ice
Method
Add all ingredients to a boston shaker, add ice and shake for eight seconds then double strain out into a chilled rocks glass.
Garnish
Lapsang souchong tea vapour.
