Drum roll please! Rutte Distillery stole the show at this year's Annual Spirited Awards at Tales of The Cocktail in New Orleans, winning Best Genever for their Old Simon Genever and Best Gin for their Celery Gin! Rutte fought off stiff competition from hundreds of other products to claim the top spot.
Congratulations to Master Distiller Myriam Hendrickx and all the Rutte team for winning two Spirited Awards! The annual awards take place at Tales of the Cocktail, the world's premier cocktail festival in New Orleans which attracts the international spirits community.
Rutte battled against hundreds of other premium products and stole the show, winning awards for their Celery Gin, named Best Gin, and also, Best Genever for their Old Simon Genever.
To win one award is a real honour, but to win two of these coveted medals in such a hotly contested competition, is a real feat. Commenting on the win, Myriam Hendrickx, Rutte's Master Distiller said: “The fact that our Celery Gin and Old Simon Genever were chosen as Best Gin and Best Genever respectively by the jury from hundreds of new products and listed amongst the ten ‘Best New Spirit or Cocktail Ingredients’ is a great honour. For us, it’s a real incentive to continue on our successful path."
