| Black Tot Master Blender’s Reserve is a special limited release to celebrate Black Tot Day which started with the Black Tot 50th Anniversary rum released in July 2020, a truly momentous moment and the start of something special. The releases takes inspiration from the original Naval Blending styles where the vats were constantly being topped up with an ever-evolving blend of rums from all around the globe since its inception in the early 1800’s, creating a one-of-a-kind rum. In keeping with this practise not all of the Master Blenders Reserve releases are bottled, some of it is re-racked and forms the base of the following release, creating an ever evolving and complex perpetual blend of fine rums, much like the British Navy did for centuries. |
