Black Tot refreshes Finest Caribbean Rum

Elixir Distillers has refreshed Black Tot Finest Caribbean with a brighter, more versatile liquid and a full rebrand, rolling out across all markets.

Independent bottler Elixir Distillers has updated its flagship Black Tot Finest Caribbean to present a brighter, more vibrant and versatile rum, perfect for both sipping and mixing. In line with a full rebrand, Black Tot Finest Caribbean launches this month and is being rolled out across all markets.

Inspired by tradition, Black Tot Finest Caribbean expertly blends single-origin rums from the finest distilleries across the Caribbean. Master Blender Olivier Chilton's aim is to present a depth of flavour much bigger than the sum of its parts.

Each rum contributes distinct characteristics: delicate Barbadian honey, the new addition of Trinidad providing stone and tropical fruit flavours, rich Guyanese body and a touch of Jamaican funk. These rums combined deliver signature flavours and aromas of ripe pineapple, vanilla fudge, and toasted cinnamon. This creates a rum which is bright, vibrant and open to a wide array of cocktails, while retaining the depth and body to be enjoyed sipped.

True to the Black Tot range, Finest Caribbean adds no sugar or flavourings and is non-chill filtered. Its flavours and natural sweetness come solely from the rums within the blend.

Oliver Chilton, Black Tot Master Blender comments: "The new blend is an approachable all-rounder. We've layered Trinidad rum into our original blend - softer, sweeter and tropical fruit-driven -- which makes our new Black Tot Finest Caribbean blend so versatile. Its depth of flavour is both for sipping and makes a strong base for building brilliant cocktails: we want to get more people into this incredible category".

The new rum displays a brighter, striking new label that reflects its vibrant character. With the outer box removed, it reflects Black Tot's commitment to sustainability, and will stand out on the shelf.
