Four Michter's limited releases land in the UK this spring

Speciality Brands is releasing four limited Michter's editions, including the sought-after 20 Year Bourbon, Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash, 10 Year Rye and 10 Year Bourbon.

Premium UK spirit distributor, Speciality Brands, is releasing an exclusive selection of 2025 limited editions from Michter's Distillery including the ultra-premium 20 Year Bourbon – a highly anticipated whiskey. Also launching this month are Michter's Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash, 10 Year Rye, and 10 Year Bourbon. These will be available under allocation at key partners this March.

Each Michter's limited release is praised by whiskey drinkers across the globe as they showcase the brand's craft distilling and maturation skills and dedication to quality and flavour excellence.

Michter's 20 Year Bourbon (57.1% ABV – RRP £2,350) – Incredibly rare, Michter's 20 Year Bourbon has matured for two full decades in first-use charred American oak barrels. The result is a profoundly expressive whiskey with exceptional depth featuring deep vanilla, toffee, chocolate, spice and fruit notes. This ultra-premium release highlights Michter's mastery of long-term ageing and flavour balance. Michter's 20 Year Bourbon is bottled in the brand's signature glass bottle with a wax seal and housed in an elegant gift box ideal for collectors.

Michter's 10 Year Rye (46.4% ABV – RRP £191.23) – A refined and elegant interpretation of Kentucky-style rye whiskey, Michter's 10 Year Rye is aged significantly longer than the label suggests, with careful maturation that deepens and harmonises flavours. On the nose and palate, the balance of warm baking spice and fresh citrus is underpinned by rich notes of vanilla, caramel, chocolate and sweet oak, showcasing why Michter's rye is revered for its complexity.

Michter's 10 Year Bourbon (47.2% ABV – RRP £176.24) – This Bourbon is an elegant and rich whiskey with an inviting nose and deep body. The extended maturation yields a sophisticated profile with layered flavours of cinnamon, orange oil, and a hint of buttered apple which culminate in a long and satisfying finish of peanut brittle, charred oak, and peppercorn.

Michter's Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash (43% ABV – RRP £112) – This release is finished in toasted, uncharred barrels. The Toasted Sour Mash deepens its flavour profile with rich honey sweetness, burnt sugar, and citrus spice, complemented by a subtle smoky vanilla. This method enhances complexity without overpowering the whiskey's innate character.

Michter's has a rich and long legacy in offering traditional American whiskies of uncompromising quality. With each of its limited production offerings aged to its peak maturity, Michter's highly acclaimed portfolio includes bourbon, rye, sour mash whiskey, and American whiskey.
