Starward Vitalis
A limited-edition single malt whisky from the Starward Distillery, released to celebrate the distillery's 15th anniversary. The whisky was blended by the distillery team from six different types of barrels, dating from 2011 to 2018, to showcase the innovation and complexity that has made Starward a pioneer in the world whisky industry.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Chewy toffee, raisins, and resinous wood notes along with chocolate and candied pineapple.
Palate
Rich and viscous texture, with notes of dried fruits, redcurrant, and a touch of lightly roasted coffee beans.
Finish
Long and complex with a delicate balance of fruit and oak, ending with cracked black pepper and tarte tatin.

This whisky has been selected from Tawny barrels that give richness and fruit character, rum barrels for sweetness, bourbon barrels for vanilla and butterscotch notes, and Apera barrels for dried fruits and complexity.
