After a very brief poker career, Alastair found himself behind the bar and immediately fell in love with hospitality.

10 years later, with a Diploma in Distilling under his belt, some valuable experience in teaching and working as the UK Brand Manager for Sliabh Liag Distillers, which earned him the nickname 'The Silkie Man'. Alastair joined the Speciality Brands team as Warden of the North.

When he's not telling stories or talking about his love for Irish whiskey, you can probably find him out climbing or on the badminton court.
