Michter’s 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon is a truly exceptional and limited release from the Michter’s distillery in Kentucky. Made from only the finest ingredients and meticulous technique, this whiskey will age in the barrel for a minimum of ten years but often longer before it is ready to be released. Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson will not release a product into the market unless it has passed all of the stringent checks and is deemed to be of appropriate quality for Michter’s. This whiskey has notes of toasted baking spices, vanilla and candied citrus peels with a subtle herbaceous note. It is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to fully appreciate the complex flavour and velvety texture.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Very tempting, complex aromas of dried fruit, cherry menthol, cinnamon and nutmeg. Touch of earthy tobacco, too.
Palate
More of the same – rich dried fruit, Christmas-cake spices and a savoury, earthy, bitter-chocolate note.
Finish
The spices last a long time, making this a whiskey to contemplate.
