Designed by Master Blender Oliver Chilton to move closer to the style of traditional Navy rum, with a richer, heavier mouthfeel.
Built from Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana and, for the first time, Grenadian rum, alongside the perpetual reserve.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Cooked blood orange studded with clove, layered with tawny and ruby Port character and cinnamon.
Palate
Liquorice, toffee and cherry create a rich, full palate, lifted by orange marmalade.
Finish
Rum-and-raisin, toffee and chocolate linger alongside cinnamon and nutmeg.
Comment
Rich and full-bodied, with chocolate, stone-fruit and citrus character.
