Highland Nectar is a harmonious liqueur blended with single malt whisky from The Tormore Distillery.

Infused with wild heather, foraged directly from the Tormore Estate on Speyside, caramel and bitter orange, Highland Nectar delivers a rich flavour profile with warming notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. The use of Tormore single malt ensures depth and complexity and balances the spiciness andsweetness of the other ingredients.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Cinnamon-and-golden-syrup biscuits are followed nimbly by sliced lemon with hints of cloves. Vanilla pods and a jar of set honey are accompanied by a pinch of nutmeg. Eucalyptus leaves finally sidle in.

Palate

Boiled sweets, orange peel and syrup envelop the palate unfolding into herbaceous notes, ground allspice and candied ginger. A whisper of star anise and a drizzle of maple syrup are a satisf ying ode to a baker’s kitchen on an autumn day.

Finish

Ground cinnamon and mulled chai cider leave a soothing impression on the palate, echoed by a smattering of clove spice as the dazzling finale.
