This artisanal Ensamble mezcal combines Espadín and Cuishe agaves, creating a complex expression that balances the distinctive characteristics of both varieties.

Also known as Cuixe or Barril, Cuishe is a sub-variety of the Karwinskii agave family and is highly prized for its unique qualities. With a naturally lower yield, it produces a mezcal with pronounced earthy and mineral notes, reflecting the character of the agave and the land in which it grows.

Blended with Espadín, a versatile and expressive agave variety, the two come together in harmony, creating a mezcal that balances Cuishe’s depth and minerality with Espadín’s approachable character. The result is a rounded and complex expression that showcases the beauty of traditional Ensamble production.
