Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky

Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky is a unique grain whisky made in Japan from 100% malted barley that has been distilled using a Coffey Still and aged in American oak. This production method results in extraordinary flavours and texture. This is a wonderful whisky with notes of mocha, dark chocolate, orange zest and vanilla. Best enjoyed neat it is also great in a variety of cocktails such as the Espresso Martini or the Manhattan.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Fruity and spicy, with plenty of sweet spice, refreshing lemon notes and an appealing nuttiness.

Palate

Rich and full flavoured. A hefty whack of spice – cinnamon and clove – at first, then joined by notes of dark chocolate and roasted nuts, then a touch of orange lightens the feeling.

Finish

Perfectly balanced between the fresh citrus, heady spices and toasty oak.
