Clairin is a traditional Haitian rhum made using native varieties of sugarcane. The bottlings in this collection come from different distilleries, with variations in production methods and distinctive characters. However, they are all excellent examples of the spirit's artisanal nature: farming is free from pesticides and herbicides; fermentation is spontaneous; and distillation is traditional and unfiltered. In the glass, these rhums share another important quality: an impeccable sense of balance.
