Only the pomace from the finest Moscato d'Asti grapes is collected, fermented and then distilled in copper pot stills in the production of Cocchi's Grappa Dorée. The spirit is then aged for a minimum of three years in Piedmont style oak barrels which ensures the Grappa is a bright, golden colour and soft and elegant on the palate.
Perfect after dinner as a digestif, Cocchi Grappa Dorée should be served straight up at room temperature.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Rich, buttery sweetness rolls from the glass. Spicy anise is layered with freshly sliced apples and pears, with a base of sponge cake and pastry run through with baked sugar – pear tarte tatin, with vanilla cream.
Palate
Initially, the fruit is incredibly sharp but mouthwatering – unripe apple and pear drizzled with lemon juice. The sweeter, buttery notes slowly develop, but remain in the background. Floral and aromatic spices provide balance.
Finish
Medium-length, with floral touches fading to leave brown sugar and spice.
Comment
Very different on nose and palate, with layers of sweetness and complexity.
