An Ensamble is a traditional mezcal style made by blending two or more agave varieties. This ancient technique has been refined over generations, and today producers have a deeper understanding of how different agaves can be combined to create unique and harmonious expressions.

Los Siete Misterios’ Ensamble is an artisanal mezcal crafted with Espadín agave, which provides an excellent foundation thanks to its balance of flavour and yield, allowing other agave varieties to shine. This expression showcases the complexity of agave by combining Espadín with Tepeztate, a rare wild agave that grows on steep mountain slopes and rocky cliffs, making it particularly challenging to harvest.

Due to its long maturation period, Tepeztate develops distinctive notes of ripe citrus and tropical fruit, adding depth and character to the mezcal. The result is a carefully crafted expression that highlights the unique qualities of each agave while celebrating Oaxaca’s rich mezcal-making traditions.
