A very special, extra-aged expression, this tequila was never originally intended for commercial release, but rather shared among friends and family.
Aged for five years in heavily toasted new American white oak barrels, it develops its deep colour and structure entirely from the wood, with no additives. At its core lies the unmistakable Tapatío DNA, which evolves beautifully over time, gaining layers of richness and complexity.
On the nose, it reveals elegant notes of vanilla, toffee and a distinctive minerality. The palate is rich and indulgent, with flavours reminiscent of dark, sweet sherry, balanced by warming spices such as cinnamon and black pepper.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Extraordinary, concentrated and elegant. Creamy oak sits alongside grilled green peppers and peppery spice, toffee apples, honeysuckle and sweet pea, and a buttery backbone of sweet pastry. It develops in the glass, bringing out more floral meadow notes, but never losing its rich and spicy core.
Palate
Intense but very well balanced. Sweet and peppery agave is joined by spiced sponge cake, brown sugar and high-cocoa chocolate. As it sits in the glass, more delicate notes are revealed - meadow flowers and soft orchard fruit, as well as rich cream.
Finish
Rich, long and warming, with waves of flavour - Turkish Delight, fruity chocolate, woody spice, ending with a gentle dryness and cocoa.
