The Boatyard Distillery is an award-winning farm-to-bottle distillery located on the banks of Lough Erne in the north-west of Ireland. Using his background in spirits, founder Joe McGirr realised his dream to build the first legal distillery in Fermanagh in more than 130 years. Joe’s vision was inspired by his family’s rich farming history – from grandad Brian who was a ploughing contractor to father Michael who was a dairy and beef farmer, the McGirr family have been part of the fabric of Fermanagh for centuries.

Only the best organic ingredients are used at The Boatyard Distillery, and where possible only local ingredients are selected. For example Boatyard’s unique gin botanical, Sweet Gale, is foraged from the family bog. Even the wheat used for Boatyard’s vodka can be traced from the bottle back to the field it came from.
